Dyno no telemetry

Gear-tuning workbench

Two pulls fill this page. For the dyno curve, pick 3rd or 4th gear, roll down to about 2000 RPM, then hold full throttle to redline — the high gear keeps tires hooked so torque and power fill cleanly from the bottom. For the gearing chart below, do a separate full-throttle run up through every gear on a flat road: it measures the acceleration and power you actually pull at each speed in each gear, so the more gears you run through, the more curves appear. The shaded band on the dyno marks where torque holds within 90% of its peak.

Waiting for telemetry

Enable Data Out in Forza and start a race or free-roam. A steady high-gear pull to redline fills the dyno curve; a full-throttle run up through every gear fills the per-gear power-vs-traction chart below it.

Set the final drive so 1st gear pulls to redline just past your launch speed. Then space the upper gears so each upshift drops the engine roughly 1000 RPM short of redline — that lands you back inside the shaded powerband.

Avoid gaps that drop you below peak torque. Avoid stacks that have you shifting twice through the same RPM band.
